JavaScript on GooglePages

Currently, JavaScript content can only be added to GooglePages by using the GPC HTML Editor rather than the WYSIWYG interface. It is strongly recommended to begin by reading the general JavaScript tutorial, followed by the description of the known JS bugs, both of which provide important information as well as warnings and work-around suggestions for known problems.

It is particularly important to be aware of the browser-specific bugs before adding JS content to the default "home" page, the content of which is cumbersome to recover when problems occur.

While caution is well-advised before trying out these tutorials, the main suggested procedure is actually quite safe and robust, when properly applied. So after creating a few test pages, adding tools like counters and AdSense to any GooglePage can be done with minimal risk and effort.
